Consignment books, iclickers, artwork, model kits, rock cleaning kits: prices are set by students who receive 75% of the selling price when their book is purchased. This means that our books are usually cheaper than those at the main bookstore, and buying your books/supplies at SUBtext helps out a fellow student!

Through consignment SUBtext is helping you sell your textbooks. We place them on the shelves where they are available to customers for one full year.  It’s easy, here’s how…

PICK YOUR SELLING PRICE

Look at other books on our shelves or check online prices if you need help. Items should be priced at least 10% lower than the new price.

WHEN YOUR BOOK SELLS, YOU GET 75%

We keep 25% as an operating fee. All profits support UVSS student initiatives.

REMEMBER YOUR EXPIRY DATE

We’ll keep your books on the shelf for one full year. Check in with us if you’d like to extend your contract an extra 6 months!

SUBtext accepts consignments Monday to Friday, up to 30 minutes before we close. If you are unable to come in that time, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate

Come to our store with samples of your art, and we will work with you to see if SUBtext is the right venue for your work. We usually accept art as consignments, but if you already have an established invoicing system, we might buy your artwork outright.
